🏆 Championship Overview

The UJPW Global Crown Heavyweight Championship is the premier world title in United Japan Pro Wrestling. It represents not only power and dominance, but also discipline, resilience, and international prestige. Those who compete in this division are considered the Guardians of Strong Style Legacy.

⚖️ Eligibility Guidelines

Rule Description

Weight Class Minimum weight: 225 lbs (102 kg) – Reserved for Heavyweight-class male competitors only.

Minimum Age Wrestlers must be at least 25 years old or have completed 7 years in-ring experience.

Wrestling Style Preference is given to wrestlers demonstrating King’s Road, Strong Style, or Hybrid Strong Grappling techniques.

⚔️ Division Match Rules

📏 Standard Match Regulations

Time Limit: 60 minutes for title matches, 30 minutes for non-title bouts.

Victory Conditions: Pinfall, submission, referee stoppage, or knockout.

Rope Breaks: 5 per match. Use of the ropes after limit results in a referee warning.

Outside Count: 20-count by referee (as per Puroresu tradition).

🛡️ Title Defense Protocol

Policy Description

Defense Frequency Must be defended at least once every 90 days. Failure results in vacating the title unless injury is officially declared.

Mandatory Challenger Clause Top 3 ranked contenders must receive a title shot within a 6-month window.

Rematch Clause Champions who lose the title are not guaranteed a rematch—must re-enter the contender rankings unless voted in by the Council of Elders.

🏯 Global Crown Match Etiquette

Pre-Match Ceremony: Both competitors must bow to each other and the belt before the bell rings.

Post-Match Protocol: Winner must assist fallen opponent to their feet if possible, in honor of the warrior code.

Champion’s Stance: Title must be worn around the waist during entrances, unless injured.

🌐 Cross-Promotion Policy

The Global Crown may be defended outside UJPW, but only:

With Council Approval (storyline/GM or booking mechanism).

Against verified world-class heavyweights.

Under Global Crown Rules—no foreign stipulations unless both parties agree.

🗓️ Special Matches & Exceptions

🔥 Royal Endurance Gauntlet

A once-a-year match where the champion defends against 3 challengers back-to-back to cement their reign.

🐉 King's Summit

Multi-promotion invitational tournament (8-man) to determine the next contender for WrestleDynasty.

🩸 Honor Clause

If a match ends via excessive interference or dishonor, the Council of Elders may overturn the result or vacate the championship.

🗣️ Champion's Oath Enforcement

All champions must complete the Global Crown Oath Ceremony before their first defense:
